A whole month later...

Soren went from being three months old to being four months old. I guess this happens quickly, everyone says so but dang...so true. What else happened with Team Snuggle? Betsy started full time at her new job, Soren started daycare, the dogs got baths, we mowed the lawn, the World Cup started, summer hit full-throttle in Atlanta, and Eric got new Chocos for the first time in 7 years (Una ate his when she was a puppy. Wow), and we ran the dishwasher a few thousand times.
Oh yeah, and the kid rolled over.

"Woah, what just happened?"

Papa enjoyed his big visit, and before he went home got to see Soren dressed up in his new organic cotton outfit, one of his favorites.

We all miss him, and the dogs miss Papa, too.
Betsy and Eric don't throw sticks nearly as often as that other guy.

Mormor was down also for another visit (she just couldn't stay away).

They had fun with the sun-bathing photo-shoot.

Lounging around...hot stuff.

Baby loves music.

And TV. Oops.

He is easily distracted by other activities, however.
And continues to be entertained by the dingos.
They are developing an interesting relationship.

He is still very dramatic.
Where'd that come from?

He loves his Great-Granny.
And she loves him.
He makes her Saturdays special.

Worried.

Pensive.

Flirting.

Goofing off.

Blowing bubbles.

Trying to talk.

Still trying...

Teething.

Playing.

Loves his bunny.

"Yeah, so what?"

"I bet yours isn't as cool as mine."

"I bet it doesn't taste as good as yours."

"I'm sorry. Yours is probably just as cool.
Catch ya'll later.
I have things to suck on."

Hurray for puppy shots!
(Now Soren can travel the globe without fear of contracting polio...
well at least go to daycare)
Stats update from his 2 month check-up:
Fat Baby :) 12 lbs 3 ozs
Almost 24" long
Holy cow.
And Papa, who waited anxiously to hold the little guy,
finally gets his baby fix. Yay.
Papa and Una hang out with naked baby.
He still looks little next to the pet wolf.

Oh baseball. Go Braves (ha ha).

Soren "learned" how to pull his frog-song thingy.
(We think it might just be his twitchy reflexes and the fact he got lucky.)

Great-Granny is in love.

Daddy has been in love...but it just keeps getting better.

We hope he keeps his dimples.

Waelo moves so carefully for fear of being yelled at.
Good dog, Waelo.

Soren thinks Waelo's obsession with tennis balls is hysterical.

He also digs hanging out on the sofa.

And crapping his pants.

Finally, springtime and flowers and hanging out in the sun

Soren is starting to recognize faces. That is cool.
Mom is still his favorite face :)...For NOW
He is definitely showing us a range of emotions...

And Una's favorite emotions are the ones that involve his mouth being open.
She mostly waits for him to spit up...gross, Una.
Waelo is sad that she is not the baby anymore.
Poor Waelo.

Soren is sleeping lots of times in his baby cage now.
He is still in our bedroom, though. We like to have him nearby.

We think he might be getting a little bit too big for bathtime in the sink...

...and he has definitely grown out of his co-sleeper!

But he is still too small to wear Dad's Dawgs hat.
He will need his own by Fall.

Places I like to hang out...

On Mom.
On blankets:
(look, my head is almost as big as the car!)

In the grass.
So Tickly.
In bed with Dad on Sunday mornings.
In my "moo-cow-rocket-ship" on my first day out with sunscreen.
(such a white kid...)
By the front door, with the breeze in my face and my guard dogs keeping me safe.
It is a good thing the little one never takes a break. Those squirrels will never get me!
In my baby cage.
Man, it is so huge for my tiny self. Good thing I have another guard dog with me here too.
With my pal Zach and my cool hat.

Just about anyplace at all.
